Travel Card rates which are applicable to all calls within the 50 United States are at a flat rate of $0.14 per minute, with a minimum period of one minute. Any additional minutes, or fractions thereof, are measured in 1/10 of a minute (6 second) increments. Any fraction is rounded up to the nearest tenth of a minute. There is a 30 cent surcharge for calls made for pay phones. Travel Card is an option which allows customers to make calls from any phone in the U.S., utilizing 8XX access methodology. After dialing the 8XX access number, the caller receives a voice prompt, then enters his or her authorization code, (which is their telephone number plus a four-digit PIN code). The caller next receives another prompt and dials the called party.
